The 2015 Hop River Chamber Music Series concludes its season this Thursday, July 23 at 7:30 pm at the First Congregational Church in Andover, Connecticut. Line-up includes Thomas Labadorf on clarinet performing Mozart's beloved Quintet for clarinet and string quartet joined by Karin Fagerburg, Barbara Vaughan (violins), Barbara Wiggin (viola), and Eric Dahlin (cello). Labadorf, Fagerburg and Dahlin regroup to perform a little known but great work, Hans Gál's Serenade for clarinet, violin, and cello. The program is rounded off with a rare performance of Brahms' Sextet in G joined by Fran Bard (cello) and Mary Ellen Briga (violin).
This is sure to be a fantastic program and a fabulous way to end the 2015 season!
